Provincial Rental Assistance 2025

Accordingly, the rental assistance amounts and cities provided by the Ministry are as follows:

In 2025, the amount was increased from 5,500 TL to 8,000 TL in Istanbul; from 4,500 TL to 6,500 TL in Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, and Izmir; from 3,750 TL to 5,500 TL in metropolitan cities; and from 3,000 TL to 4,500 TL in the remaining provinces.

A risky building report must be obtained from the relevant institution for your building. If urban transformation is underway in your area, you may be eligible for urban transformation rental assistance if your building is rebuilt.

Eligible applicants for urban transformation rental assistance must apply to the Provincial Directorates of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization with the necessary documentation.

How to apply?

To benefit from rental assistance for residences and businesses located in buildings identified as risky, eligible owners can apply to the Directorate/Municipality in the city where the risky building is located within one year of the date of eviction or three months of the date the risky building was demolished.

Residency Requirement

Under Law No. 6306, owners of risky buildings receive 18 months of rental assistance for a single independent unit they reside in, subject to an annual Ministry approval. The requirement for rental assistance payments is residence in the risky building. Payments are made only to owners, tenants, and limited in-kind beneficiaries who meet this requirement.
